How to Clean Tiles With Natural Products

The following natural products are effective in removing grouts without the harmful chemicals:

 

  1. Baking Soda

For cleaning the tiles daily baking soda is ideal to use. Use any wet sponge or  toothbrush to scrub the tiles. After scrubbing the tiles rinse then wipe the tiles.

 

  1. Vinegar

Vinegar is an effective cleaning agent against molds and mildews. The acidic nature of vinegar penetrates deep into grouts. It is able to remove deep seated dirt and soap residues in the tiles. To use vinegar as a cleaning agent mix it with water in a bottled spray. Spray this mixture on the tiles. Let it settle for a few minutes on the tiles before scrubbing. To remove tougher stains combine vinegar and baking soda together.

 

  1. Salt

Molds and mildews thrive on wet areas. Salt becomes an effective agent for cleaning when mixed with water. To clean tiles with salt first wet the tiles and sprinkle salt. Leave this mixture overnight before rinsing.

 

  1. Lemon Juice

Lemon juice is a whitening agent for the skin. This can also work for the tiles. Lemon juice works best with baking soda.
