Molds and mildews thrive on wet areas. Salt becomes an effective agent for cleaning when mixed with water. To clean tiles with salt first wet the tiles and sprinkle salt. Leave this mixture overnight before rinsing.
Lemon juice is a whitening agent for the skin. This can also work for the tiles. Lemon juice works best with baking soda.
